MEDICAL PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS
What is MPA
The growth and aging of the world Population are pushing health systems to develop better prevention strategies for diseases and their complications. With this type of approach, caregivers can provide patients with minor treatments or suggestions for lifestyle changes to reduce the need for expensive and costly medical procedures. As part of the MPA program, we develop solutions to predict patients’ outcomes by integrating different type of data (*omics, clinical, etc.) and developing artificial intelligence systems.
Those solutions can be used to obtain:
- More accurate diagnoses - by predicting the likelihood of disease for an individual patient based on a multitude of factors (age, health status, genetic profile, etc.) from the analysis of huge amounts of information such as past treatment outcomes, clinical data and recent published medical research.
- Improved treatment plans – by identifying the efficacy of various drugs and their optimal dosage for different patients’ profiles, from the joint analysis of electronic health records, medical prescriptions, and genetic profiles.
- Preventing accidents and detecting deterioration in patients with chronic disease – by identifying and predicting onset of epileptic seizures, for instance, from the analysis of a variety of biomedical signals.
